Our Team

Paul Stamp

Paul has been an osteopath since graduating from the BSO in 1987. His osteopathic treatment style is based on a firm medical footing and he understands that, to work effectively with his clients, he must both appreciate the role of osteopathy and its advantages, as well as its limitations.

Over his time working in Gloucester he has built contacts with a range of specialists to whom he refers which compliment his knowledge. All of this means you can feel assured that treatment will be based around your individual needs, with the emphasis on both you as a patient and him as a practitioner, learning together about your problems. He sees this team work as fundamental to good outcomes.

He is also a keen, if not good, sportsman!

Helen Froggatt

Helen had a background in nursing in London before she decided on a career change and joined the British School of Osteopathy. She qualified in 1989 and joined Paul her husband at Gloucester Osteopaths.

She has always had a keen interest in treating children and babies and has taught cranial techniques at the BSO as well as a year teaching at Victoria University in Melbourne.

Jane Hatfield

Jane qualified from the British School of Osteopathy in 1983. She ran her own busy surgery in Halstead, Essex for fourteen years, the last four of which she also worked in the local hospital in the physiotherapy department.

After a three year break living in Grenoble France, Jane recommenced her career in July 2003, working for Gloucester Osteopaths for two days a week.

Tom Brereton

Tom qualified from the British School of Osteopathy in 2003. He began his training at the John Wernham College of Classical Osteopathy, which taught traditional osteopathic principles of practice, as developed by the founder of osteopathy, Andrew Taylor Still.

Since qualifying, he has worked in general practice and enjoys treating a wide variety of musculoskeletal problems. As the son of a vet and growing up with animals, he went on to do the post graduate diploma in Veterinary Osteopathy which he completed in 2007.
